Extension & Renovation Project

Bearsden, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction was appointed to deliver this high-end residential extension and full renovation project in Bearsden, Glasgow, working in conjunction with the interior design team and architects to oversee all construction works and manage costs throughout.

Extension & Internal Alterations

Stepps, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction was appointed to deliver this high-end residential extension and internal alteration project in Stepps, Glasgow, working in close collaboration with Richard Pears Architecture to ensure all works were delivered in line with approved designs and specifications.

Bespoke Extension

Kirkintilloch, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction was appointed directly by the client to deliver this bespoke extension in the heart of Glasgow, enhancing and increasing the footprint of a traditional sandstone property.

Works commenced with the demolition of an existing garage, followed by site clearance and the installation of foundations and drainage to establish the footprint of the extension.

Luxury New Build

Bearsden, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction was appointed directly by the homeowner to deliver this bespoke, one-of-a-kind new build home, tailored to the client’s requirements.

The project presented a number of technical challenges, requiring expertise in civil engineering and structural steelwork. A combination of traditional basement-level blockwork construction and large, craned-in cantilevered steel elements was used to position the property at an angle, maximising views across the surrounding area.

Bespoke Extension

Marc Allan Construction was appointed to deliver this project, designed by George Buchanan Architects, ensuring all works were carried out in line with approved designs and specifications.

The project commenced with the demolition of an existing extension, followed by enabling works to establish the footprint for this truly unique bespoke residential extension.

Bespoke Extension

Blantyre, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction was awarded the contract through a tender process to deliver this distinctive box extension, incorporating an innovative use of space through a fully glazed enclosed roof terrace. A large Velux walk-on rooflight was installed, providing natural light directly into the newly formed living space below.

Working in collaboration with the design team at Abode Architects, we brought the design to life, ensuring all works were delivered in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

Extension & Refurbishment

Milngavie, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction was invited to tender for this project by the architect and was successfully appointed to deliver an extensive refurbishment, including the construction of a rear extension.

Following initial downtakings and structural alterations, enabling works were undertaken to facilitate the formation of structural openings at the rear of the property. Groundworks then commenced, with foundations constructed for the new extension.

Bespoke Garden Room

Bothwell, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction was approached by a returning client to deliver a one-of-a-kind, truly bespoke garden room, designed to create a unique and high-quality additional living space.

The garden room was constructed using a fully engineered structural steel frame set on a concrete raft foundation, with reclaimed handcrafted sandstone incorporated from earlier structural alteration works.

Bespoke Extension

Bothwell, Glasgow

Marc Allan Construction worked closely with the client to deliver this substantial extension, comprising two individually designed elements with a combined footprint exceeding 100 square metres.

Initial works commenced to open up the rear of the property, with engineered structural steel elements installed to form an 8-metre-wide opening, creating a seamless connection to the new extension.
